The memory of Bill: " I met Bill for the first time in 1989 when I was coaching at Godo. Since then we have become friends off the pitch and rivals on the pitch. The most challenging games for me as a manager have always been against Bill's teams. Bill has always been precise in his preparation and his teams had the same discipline in their game.

In 2003/2004, Bill and I became colleagues at MLB when we worked closely with FIBS in setting up the FIBS Baseball Academy in Tirrenia until 2018. Bill and I traveled the world together for baseball and the times we shared together in the various countries we visited they were priceless and will always be remembered. Bill left a very strong legacy with everyone he met, especially the players he dedicated his professional life to. "
